With our opening fast approaching, South Bunbury Community Aged Care is recruiting our second intake of Food Service Assistants to join our friendly and supportive team.

 

In this role, you will help create a positive dining experience for residents by preparing and serving food, assisting during mealtimes, and maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards.

 Competitive rate:  $30.59 per hour + super + salary packaging benefits

 

About You

 A current HLTFSE001 - Follow Basic Food Safety Practices certificate is required. We're looking for people with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of our residents.  Experience in Aged Care or in a kitchen/café environment is great, but not essential.

 

To Be Considered

You will need to:

  • Hold a current HLTFSE001 – Follow Basic Food Safety Practices Certificate (essential). Applicants without this qualification will not be considered.
  • Hold a current Police Check  (not older than 12 months)
  • Have a genuine passion for supporting older people
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Be reliable, positive, and customer-focused
  • Be available to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
