We are dedicated to creating communities that set the standard in aged care, guided by our C.A.R.E. values: Collaboration, Accountability, Respect, and Empathy Why this role matters: As the Finance Transformation Lead, you will drive the Finance stream of a large-scale systems transformation, leading the design and implementation of future-state finance processes, controls, reporting, data migration, testing, cutover and go-live activities. You'll work closely with Finance, Operations, Technology teams and implementation partners to deliver a modern, scalable finance function. This role is a 2-year contract. Key Responsibilities - Lead the Finance stream of a major systems transformation program, driving the design and implementation of future-state finance processes and controls.
- Oversee Finance operations across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, procurement, resident billing, reporting and period-end processes.
- Lead Finance readiness activities including process design, data cleansing, data migration, integration testing, cutover planning and go-live support.
- Partner with Finance, Operations, Technology teams and external implementation partners to ensure successful delivery and adoption of the new ERP platform.
- Drive reporting, reconciliation and financial control frameworks to support accurate, auditable and reliable financial information.
- Lead Finance SMEs and key stakeholders through workshops, decision-making, testing, training and business readiness activities.
- Support cutover, post-go-live stabilisation and the first month-end close within the new environment.
About you You are a CA or CPA qualified finance professional with proven ERP transformation experience, strong expertise in financial operations and controls, and the ability to lead stakeholders through complex change. Collaborative and outcomes-focused, you thrive in delivering scalable finance solutions that drive business performance. Essential Experience & Skills - Proven experience leading Finance workstreams through a full-cycle ERP implementation.
- Strong knowledge of financial operations, controls, reporting and data migration.
- Experience with finance process design, testing, reconciliation and go-live activities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
- Sound understanding of accounting standards, financial controls and audit requirements.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Ability to partner effectively with Technology teams, vendors and implementation partners.
- Experience with Epicor or similar ERP platforms. - highly regarded
- Experience in aged care, healthcare or other regulated multi-site environments.
- Knowledge of payroll, procurement, banking, reporting or data integration processes.
Qualifications & Essential Requirements - Current CA or CPA qualification
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline highly regarded
- Current National Police Check or Willing to obtain
- Australian Citizenship, Permanent Residency or valid Australian work rights.
