About the Role

As our IT Support Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in keeping our technology running smoothly across the organisation. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues—spanning software, hardware, networks, and cloud systems—and ensure our team can rely on you when urgent support is needed.

 

You’ll work closely with people across all departments, explaining technical concepts in a clear and friendly way, and supporting everything from Level 1 to Level 3 enquiries. If you enjoy variety, problem-solving, and making technology easy for others, this role offers the chance to make a real impact every day.

 

Please note this role requires regular travel to our Victorian sites and the occasional travel to our national sites.

 


What You’ll Do

    • Provide responsive IT support to staff across the organisation.

    • Set up, configure, and maintain hardware, software, and network equipment.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly across a range of systems (Tier 1–4).

    • Manage Windows Azure servers and assist with ISO27001 implementation.

    • Monitor daily network health to keep our operations running smoothly.

    • Install upgrades and support new technology rollouts.

    • Build strong relationships with departments and external vendors.

    • Maintain clear technical documentation and SOPs.

    • Deliver basic training and guidance to help users get the most from our systems.

    • Support other IT activities as needed


What You’ll Bring

    • 2+ years’ experience in IT support, networking, and systems maintenance.

    • Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with ITIL best practices.

    • Knowledge of Windows 11, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Active Directory, and VOIP.

    • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls, routing/switching).

    • Experience with Fortinet, Dell switches, wireless access points, and cloud technologies.

    • Ability to use PowerShell or similar scripting tools for automation.

    • Experience with ManageEngine or aged care IT (advantageous).
