Start date: Mid - End November 2026 | Weekday & Weekend Shifts Available

Be part of something special from the very beginning! We’re seeking qualified and enthusiastic Resident Care Wellbeing Assistants (Lifestyle Assistants) to join our brand‑new, vibrant wellbeing team at our state‑of‑the‑art 180‑bed aged care residence in South Bunbury. This is a unique opportunity to play an integral role in shaping the culture, programs, and experience of our new community as we open our doors for the first time.

About the Role

As a Resident Care Wellbeing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in delivering engaging, purposeful, and meaningful person-centred lifestyle programs that recognise each residents individuality, promote independence, and nurture strong community connections.

 

You’ll work as part of a supportive, creative, and fun wellbeing team dedicated to creating joy, connection, and meaningful moments every day.

 

You will also have the exciting opportunity to be part of the commissioning phase, contributing to planning, set‑up, and early program development to help establish a welcoming and vibrant environment for our very first residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and delivering high‑quality lifestyle, wellbeing, and engagement programs
  • Support residents to participate in meaningful, interest‑based activities
  • Use creativity and technology to enhance resident engagement
  • Build warm, positive relationships with residents, families, and team members
  • Contribute to establishing lifestyle routines, processes, and systems during commissioning
  • Help create a fun, inclusive, and uplifting home culture from day one

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

  • Certificate III or IV in Ageing
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Current CPR certificate
  • Current DoFoodSafely Certificate
  • Valid driver’s licence

Highly Desirable / Additional Attributes:

  • Experience delivering lifestyle or wellbeing programs in aged care (experience as a Lifestyle/Wellbeing Assistant is highly regarded)
  • Creative, enthusiastic, and tech‑savvy
  • Passionate about enhancing the lives of older people and supporting holistic wellbeing
