South Bunbury Community Aged Care is preparing to open our state‑of‑the‑art, purpose‑built 180‑bed home, and we are seeking an experienced Deputy Residential Manager to join us from day one. This role will commence in early September 2026 to support the commissioning and operational setup of the home ahead of opening. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside the Residential Manager to support commissioning, operational setup, and the ongoing management of our brand‑new residence. About the Role We are seeking a Deputy Residential Manager who: - Has aspirations to become a Residential Manager in the future
- Brings highly developed clinical skills and a passion for exceptional resident care
- Communicates with clarity, confidence, and compassion
- Can thrive in a fast‑paced, resident‑focused environment
In this pivotal leadership role, you will help guide, support and inspire a team of clinical professionals and care workers. You will also act in charge when the Residential Manager is off-site or on leave. Skills & Experience To be successful, you will have: - At least 5 years’ experience as a Clinical Manager or Quality Manager
- Minimum 5 years in a leadership role with people management responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of the Aged Care Act, accreditation standards, and AN‑ACC
- Demonstrated leadership, supervision and management capability in aged care
- Excellent people management, relationship building and negotiation skills
- Current, unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Police Check completed within the last 12 months
