Exciting Opportunity for a Rostering & Admin Coordinator

 

We have an exciting opportunity for an Rostering & Admin Coordinator to come on board and join our team at Narangba Community Aged Care.

 

 

About the role:

 

  • To support the management team of the residence by carrying out a range of administration duties including general office procedures, data entry, rostering internal audits and orientation of new staff members as well as special projects as delegated by management.
  • To ensure clinical staff profile/roster meets the organisational needs, facilitates safe resident care and is managed within budget perimeters.
  • To provide prompt and friendly customer service to residents, visitors and staff.
  • To communicate with residents and their family and friends and other staff in the Home any changes or feedback as required in a professional and private manner.
  • Be a role model of leadership through accountability and provide a reliable and informed conduit of information ensuring all care teams, service providers, residents and family members are engaged appropriately.

 

About You:

 

If you're a highly organised, proactive professional with a background in administration and rostering (preferably in aged care), we want you on our team. Your experience will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility.

 

Key Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experienced in administration and rostering (aged care preferred), including validations for Payroll
  • Experienced in providing support with recruitment and on-boarding of new employees
  • Experienced in the scheduling, delivery and management of training 
  • Highly organised, with excellent time and expectation management skills
  • Comfortable learning new technology,
  • Discrete and able to effectively communicate with a wide range of people including staff, residents and family members.
  • Able to provide support and supervision to Reception employees
  • A problem solver
  • Customer focused
